Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP recently added John K. Crisham as of counsel to its Litigation Practice in the firm's Denver and Washington D.C. offices.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP recently added John K. Crisham as of counsel to its Litigation Practice in the firm's Denver and Washington D.C. offices. He previously practiced at Kirkland & Ellis in Washington, D.C.

Crisham focuses his litigation practice on complex civil, products liability, and appellate matters. Throughout his career, Crisham has successfully represented clients at both the trial and appellate levels, and before the Supreme Court.

"John is a welcome addition to our multifaceted litigation practice. His extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare and energy industries will be beneficial to not only our highly ranked Litigation Practice, but specifically to our clients in that space," said David G. Palmer, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig's Denver office.

Crisham has many years of experience litigating cases for medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Notable cases include Mutual Pharm. Co. v. Bartlett, 133 S. Ct. 2466 (2013) and Pliva, Inc. v. Mensing, 131 S. Ct. 2567 (2011), among others. He also has diverse experience in litigating complex commercial matters.

Crisham earned his law and undergraduate degrees at Notre Dame. In his undergraduate program, he participated in the Program of Liberal Studies (PLS). Previously, he was a law clerk for Judge Paul J. Kelly, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Crisham is admitted to practice in Illinois and the District of Columbia, and before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Tenth Circuit, and seven other federal circuits. His Colorado bar admission is pending and he has completed his application and will take the MPRE in March.
