Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP's Jeff Joyner will be speaking at the VerdeXchange 2016 conference taking place at the L.A. Hotel Downtown in Los Angeles Jan. 24-26.

Joyner, an intellectual property shareholder in the Los Angeles office, will be speaking on the panels titled, "NextGen Passenger Cars: Will They Be Zero-Emitting, Connected, and Eventually Autonomous?" and "An Update on Urban Mobility: Automated Transit Networks (ATNs) Coming of Age Around the World."

According to its website, VerdeXchange gathers "accomplished clean and green tech entrepreneurs, energy and water companies, advanced vehicle manufacturers, soft and hardware developers, public policy makers as well as procuerers, innovative financiers, and environmental stewards," to engage and discuss California and the western states' "opportunity-rich markets for renewables, sustainable practice, and finance."

Joyner's experience includes intellectual property and technology advice, transactions and litigation, and emerging and established technologies, including digital, cleantech, advanced transportation and infrastructure, venture capital and private equity, entertainment, Internet, new media, government affairs, and international trade. He advises and is an active limited partner of one of the first clean technology venture funds that includes a portfolio of IoT (Internet of Things) protocols, efficient lighting, energy efficiency rebates, solar, carbon credit management, water purification, and bio pesticide companies. Joyner also advises other ventures and companies using technologies for electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, drones, solar, wind, biomass, solar thermal, waste-to-energy, green building material, transportation, infrastructure, and smart grid projects, among others.

Additionally, Joyner is on the Leadership Council of the Los Angeles CleanTech Incubator (LACI) and was on the Board of Directors for CleanTech Los Angeles until it merged with LACI. He is also a co-founder and co-chair of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation's e4Mobility Alliance and is on several advisory boards including the U.S.-China CleanTech Center and the e4 Advanced Transportation Center.
