Rising Stars must be 40 years or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less to qualify for selection.

Wheaton Divorce Lawyer William J. Stogsdill joined The Stogsdill Law Firm, P.C. in 2012. He concentrates his legal practice in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, collaborative law, mediation, and appeals. He is a trained Guardian ad Litem for the DuPage County court system. Prior to joining The Stogsdill Law Firm, P.C., he worked as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Criminal Prosecutions Bureau of DuPage County for several years, where he prosecuted over 100 trials with a 91 percent conviction rate in jury trials.

Stogsdill obtained his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, and obtained his B.S. from Clemson University. He is admitted to practice law in both Illinois and Florida. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, the Robert E. Jones AIC of DuPage County, and the Florida Bar Association. In 2015, the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys named Stogsdill a "10 Best Under 40 Attorney" for client satisfaction. In 2012, he earned an Outstanding Service Award from the State's Attorney Office.

Wheaton Divorce Lawyer Brett T. Williamson joined The Stogsdill Law Firm, P.C. in 2006. He exclusively concentrates his legal practice in the area of family law and handles matters pertaining to divorce, child custody, child support, collaborative law, mediation, and appeals. He has successfully negotiated settlements and litigated cases involving complex financial matters, child custody, child support and the division of property.

Williamson graduated with his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and earned his B.A. from Butler University. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, and the Will County Bar Association. He serves as General Counsel and the Associate Board President of Griffith Tutoring, a non-profit organization that assists in preparing at-risk Chicago students for the ACT exam. He has also been appointed to the Hearing Board of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission (ARDC).

In 2015, Williamson was named a "Top 40 Under 40 Attorney" by The National Trial Lawyers organization, and the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys selected him as a "10 Best Under 40 Attorney" for client satisfaction. He was also was named to the "Top 100 Lawyers" by The National Advocates organization.
