For every WWP Swiss Army Knife sold from January 1, 2016, through December 31, 2016, VSA will donate five percent of the manufacturer's suggested retail price directly to WWP, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $100,000. The donation from VSA will be used to support WWP's 20 programs and services, which are uniquely structured to honor and empower this generation of wounded veterans. Through a high-touch and interactive approach, the WWP vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history.

"We are humbled and honored by our association with Wounded Warrior Project," said René Stutz, President and CEO of Victorinox Swiss Army, North America. "Wounded Warrior Project delivers essential programs to equip injured service members with the day-to-day tools needed to thrive in their civilian lives after service. This support of our U.S. veterans is a critical mission, and one which we are proud to take on through the sale of our co-branded Swiss Army Knife collection."

Launching at SHOT Show in Las Vegas (January 19-22, 2016), show attendees are invited to build their own co-branded commemorative knife at the VSA booth (#14202). Participants will have the option of choosing between two knife styles, the Classic SD (58 mm) or Spartan (91 mm), and three different handle design options. Suggested donations are $20 for the Classic SD and $30 for the Spartan with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to WWP.

On January 20th, VSA and WWP executives will host a launch celebration event at 4:30PM PST at the VSA SHOT Show booth (#14202) featuring an appearance by WWP Alumnus, Brett Miller. To learn about Brett's inspiring story, watch here.

"Our partnership with Victorinox Swiss Army provides us with an exciting opportunity to raise awareness on behalf of thousands of wounded veterans across the United States," said Gary Corless, Executive Vice President of Strategic Giving at Wounded Warrior Project. "In addition to the critical resources that this campaign will generate for our life-saving programs and services, the co-branded Swiss Army Knife gives supporters a new way to support Wounded Warrior Project and the veterans we serve. It also serves as a tangible reminder to the importance of supporting our veterans who have given so much to this country. We are truly grateful for the generosity of Victorinox Swiss Army and for their desire to participate in our mission to honor and empower Wounded Warriors."

WWP and VSA co-branded knives will be available in eight exclusive designs on four of the most popular Swiss Army Knife models: Classic SD ($24 retail), Tinker ($30 retail), Fieldmaster ($49 retail) and SwissChamp® Hardwood ($99 retail). The commemorative co-branded knives will be available for purchase in the U.S. starting on March 1, 2016, at all VSA Retail stores, at SwissArmy.com, and select VSA retail partners.

As a thank you for their service, past and present service members can show identification at VSA retail stores and receive 15 percent off their purchase.
