PCI Central Region, Gate Precast and other PCI Member Producers offer building professionals an opportunity to attend a complimentary full-day educational seminar in October.

Architects, designers, engineers and others looking to enhance their knowledge of Precast Concrete Systems are invited to attend one of two all-day seminars in October. Attendees will earn 7.0 AIA-credited learning units (HSW) or 7.0 Professional Development Units.
The seminars will focus on multiple topics delivered by foremost industry professionals. Each topic provides building professionals the tools and knowledge needed to design with precast concrete products.
PCI Central Region, an affiliate organization of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute, is producing the continuing education series in conjunction with regional member precast producers.
The seminars will be held between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the following locations:
Oct. 27: Springfield, MO at the White River Conference Center
Oct. 29: St. Louis, MO at The Courses at Forest Park
Gate Precast, a member of PCI Central Region, is co-sponsoring this seminar series. Topics for each seminar include Integrated Building Designs, Floor & Roof Systems, Architectural Systems, Parking Structures with Case Studies, FEMA Tornado Safe Rooms and Education Facilities Case Studies.
Scott Robinson, Director of Sales & Marketing for Gate Precast's Midwest Division, will lead the educational discussion on Architectural Precast Systems. Scott has over 20 years' experience in the construction industry working with design teams and contractors to ensure cost-effective best practices are used in precast design.
Featured speakers include: Brian M. Orr, P.E., Principal, at Toth and Associates who will present case studies and general information Using Precast to Design FEMA Tornado Safe Rooms and Matthew J. Jobin, RA, Senior Project Manager at Rich & Associates in Southfield, MI, will present multiple case studies on parking structures.
