National Recording Artist LOU Set To Release U2 Cover as His Next Single on October 30: New Album Coming In 2016

Multi-platinum recording artist, musician, composer and producer LOU will release a cover version of the U2 track "October" on October 30th. It will be the first time in the song's 34-year history any artist has released October as a single, including U2.

After spending the last two years recording and promoting two holiday releases, Another Christmas Eve (EP) in 2013 and Another Christmas Eve (The Snowflake Edition) in 2014, LOU will be releasing a new single on October 30th. The upcoming single will be a cover of the U2 song "October" from the Irish rock band's second studio album by the same name originally released in 1981. This will be the first time in the song's 34-year history that any artist has released the track as a single and the first time in LOU's 20 year music career that he's covered another artist. Unlike it's original version with vocals, LOU's version will be completely instrumental. "I grew up as an admirer of U2's work and "October" has always been one of my favorite songs," said LOU. "As a pianist, I can't think of a better U2 song to cover."

LOU's hard at work on his highly anticipated new full length album due out in 2016. In addition to new music, LOU will be working and collaborating with social media platforms to bring special exclusive content to fans. "I'm looking forward to sharing new music with my fans and taking these new songs on the road," said LOU.
