Glory Bound Gyro Co. Opens Birmingham Location with Ribbon Cutting and Check Presentation

Glory Bound Gyro Co. holds soft opening charity event in downtown Birmingham, AL to kick off the weekend with good food, good times, and an opportunity to give back.

Unique food and giving back is what Glory Bound Gyro Co. is all about. Located at 101 20th Street South, the newest addition to the Glory Bound brand in Birmingham opened its doors for business on Tuesday, August 18th.

After hosting their "Eat Good, Give Back" soft opening fund raising event the weekend before, Glory Bound Gyro Co. and their nonprofit, Making Life Grand, were able to raise funds and awareness for the Children's Advocacy Center: Prescott House and Railroad Park. "Our Birmingham opening was a great experience," said Sam McAlister, Marketing Director for Ain't Life Grand Investments. "Everyone who dined with us over the weekend loved the "Eat Good Give Back" experience and were very excited to have Glory Bound as a new dining option in Birmingham." Tuesday morning during the opening day ribbon cutting ceremony Glory Bound founders and staff presented a check to the Prescott House and Railroad Park in the amount of $4,179.24.

Founder Chris McDonald stated, "The Birmingham market has been great for our businesses. Both locations of Mugshots Grill & Bar thrive here and we're so excited to introduce our Glory Bound brand and concept to Birmingham."
