The Australia-wide event is organised by The Childrens Book Council of Australia and is now in its 70th Year. The week of festivities will be celebrated by schools around the country from 22nd -29th August and culminates in a dress-up day at many primary schools. In response to the demand for book-related costumes the successful online retailer has just released an exclusive new collection that includes Roald Dahl's iconic characters, exclusive new designs of Where's Wally and Where's Wenda costumes for students and teachers, and memorable characters from the popular Horrible Histories series written by Terry Deary.

The range is showing signs of early success, with some lines selling out almost immediately. Roald Dahl characters such as Matilda, the BFG, the Twits and Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are in high demand. Historical figures from the Horrible Histories series including kings and queens, executioners, Vikings and gladiators are predicted to be a hit with young fans of the funny and informative books.
