Superior Farms Pet Provisions Revamps Fundraising Program
In an effort to support pet shelters and rescues, Superior Farms Pet Provisions has announced it will give 10% of all internet sales back to the participants in its formerly-named "Doggie Donation" program during the month of August. Shoppers can specifically choose where the donations go to by using a unique code for one of the participating shelters.
"This is something that our company truly stands behind," said President Gary Pfeiffer. "Most of our employee dogs are rescues, and we know how difficult it can be for these organizations to get the support they need. This is close to our hearts."
The program is being re-named "Farm Fundraising" to make it more clear that rescues and shelters signing up have an opportunity to raise funds for their organization. They are exploring ways to redesign their website to make it easier to choose the unique donation codes at the point of check out.
"We say our treats are 'From Our Farms To Your Pet,'" said Pfeiffer. "With this program, it's more like 'From Our Farms To Your Rescue.'" The company is also doing some outreach to make sure that participating organizations have samples of product in rescue adoption packets. "We want their supporters know that we provide an easy opportunity to continue to support the cause while keeping their new adoptee happy with delicious treats," said Pfeiffer.
SFPP offers all natural lamb, beef and venison treats and chews that are produced safely in the US and New Zealand. Bulk items are also available to purchase through the website.
Each of the current participating organizations will benefit equally from any of the purchases throughout the month online. Funds for specific shelters will be allocated if shoppers use a unique code at checkout. Those codes can be found here: http://www.superiorfarmspet.com/buy/support-the-animals.asp
