Genlux magazine hit the newsstands today featuring an unretouched 57-year-old Andie MacDowell on the cover. "UNRETOUCHED. NOT A LICK OF PHOTOSHOP," proudly claims the publication's cover line.

Genlux's decision to go against the grain and not photoshop the images was inspired by MacDowells's own conviction that "Some kinds of lines are sexy. Some people say men get sexier with age, but so do women. The idea that men are allowed to get older but women are not is an old rule that's being broken."

Publisher Cecilia Moreno agrees wholeheartedly. "Look at her. At 57, Andie MacDowell is still as sexy and fabulous as ever!"

The photographs were taken by Tracey Morris at the Paul Williams–designed home of Mark B. Barron in Bel-Air. MacDowell's beautiful makeup was done by Uzo Ukajeme and her hair was skillfully coiffed by Robert Steinken.

In the exclusive Genlux interview, MacDowell addresses her desire for equality with men. "I can be feminine and still be equal," she says. "I don't have to start dressing like a man to fight this battle. I can do it in heels."

She also talks openly about other topics, including a heartbreaking childhood, her relationship with her own children, and charities near to her heart. MacDowell also shares something she's never shared with anyone.
