WASHINGTON, July 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SevenTwenty Strategies, an integrated public relations and public affairs agency, announced today that it has expanded its team through the addition of new staff members in its Creative, Accounts and Technology Departments. The firm named Christine DiGiovacchino as Creative Director and Megan Blair as Senior Web Designer in its Creative Department, Joe Richards as Senior Account Director in its Accounts Department, and Grant Barnett and Alex Lindeman as PHP Developers in its Technology Department.

Ms. DiGiovacchino is responsible for the oversight of the firm's creative team and processes. She has more than 16 years of experience developing award-winning strategy and creative solutions across a variety of media, clients and industries, including websites and e-mail marketing, information architecture and wire framing, print and online advertising campaigns, branding materials and direct mail for companies such as USAA, Lance Inc., EMC, OptimaHealth, Buan Consulting, LifeLock and 21st Century Insurance.

Ms. Blair is responsible for the creation of web and interactive design projects including information architecture, wire framing, user experience and user interface design. She has worked on large-scale projects for the University of Maryland, including event branding and alumni marketing media. She has both digital and print experience in the creative industry and is knowledgeable about branding and high-quality typography.

Mr. Richards will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationships with some of the firm's Fortune 500 and trade association clients when it comes to public affairs and digital PAC strategies. He was previously with Craft Media/Digital in Washington, DC, where he managed website development, advertising campaigns and social media campaigns. He has a wealth of experience in the digital and traditional campaign space. Before this, he was an integrated marketing executive at The Lukens Company, where he coordinated political campaign operations for a variety of candidates and committees.

Mr. Barnett and Mr. Lindeman will be responsible for day-to-day client website development and maintenance, as well as our grassroots and PAC software suites. Mr. Barnett was previously a front end developer with Virid Inc., where he worked on website testing for custom CMS development utilizing a .NET programming environment across desktop and mobile devices. Mr. Lindeman was previously with Oakland Street Publishing, where he created and managed the company's website.
