Partners In Leadership Study Reveals Technology Desired for Accelerating Culture Change

San Diego, Ca (PRWEB) June 30, 2015

A recent study conducted by Partners In Leadership (PIL) reveals that 62% of professionals feel that their organization, not only should, but "must" use technology to help accelerate efforts around changing company culture. As the world's premier provider of Accountability Training and Culture Change Services, PIL has conducted an extensive body of original research on the subjects of digital learning tools and culture change, and as a result of this research, it has invested considerable resources in developing such innovations as PILtools®, the company's cutting-edge digital collaboration platform. This digital culture-shaping tool suite supports and provides momentum in learning and culture change initiatives and was recently awarded the top International E-Learning Association (IELA) award for the #1 solution for blended learning in the world.

"Right now, leaders of organizations around the world are talking about company culture and what they can do to make their culture better," said Roger Connors, CEO of Partners In Leadership. "It's time for a new approach to culture change—organizations cannot rely solely on nondigital means in order to achieve the changes that they desire. Those who want to see a real culture change with accelerated movement will embrace technology and see the potential that it has to offer."

The PIL study also showed that 84% of respondents indicated that the example of leaders using training initiatives is the single most important factor in influencing others on the team or in the company to use what is introduced. This points to a glaring need for leaders to become proactive in using technologies to jump-start the trend within their organization. Leaders will begin to hear things they have needed and wanted to hear from employees as they themselves become more tech savvy and reach out digitally. Roger Connors and his business partner and co-founder of PIL, Tom Smith, recently coauthored a column for Training magazine titled "Transforming Culture at the Speed of Light: Go Digital."

In the article, the authors point out the need for culture change through digital means. They wrote, "In today's widely distributed workforce with remote office requirements, relying on face-to-face encounters to accelerate this shift in culture is slow and unreliable. These days everything and everyone is going digital and so should your efforts to change culture…There's massive evidence our society wants to participate and collaborate online. And the possibilities have never been greater—all fueled by the popularity of social platforms."
