Karen Hrdlicka named President/CEO of Mature Services, Inc.

AKRON, OH- Mature Services is happy to announce that Karen Hrdlicka has been chosen as the next President/Chief Executive Officer of Mature Services, Inc. Hrdlicka assumed her new position May 18, and is already meeting with community partners.

"Karen Hrdlicka brings the experience and expertise needed to meet the challenges we face through a proven record of leadership, strategy development, team building, financial management and relationship management," said Pamela Hawkins, the Chair for the Board of Directors of Mature Services, Inc.

A well-respected local leader, Hrdlicka spent more than 15 years in progressively senior positions at St. Luke Lutheran Community. There, as Executive Director, she oversaw the     56-bed Portage Lakes nursing facility and directed a multi-million dollar project that created a 15-suite assisted living addition to the campus at Portage Lakes. Furthermore, Hrdlicka has directed many strategic plans, implemented new technology systems and been in leadership roles on numerous community boards.

"I am pleased to be joining Mature Services as it embarks on its 40th year of service," said Hrdlicka. "As a multi-service agency, it has served as a model in continually assessing the needs of the individuals being served, and implementing the programs to meet those needs. I am looking forward to working with the staff in making sure that Mature Services continues to grow."
