Logical Operations, the world's leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, announces that the CyberSec First Responder: Threat Detection and Response (CFR) training and certification program has been approved for CompTIA's Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.

The CompTIA Continuing Education (CE) Program allows students to keep their CompTIA certifications current by completing activities that will earn CEUs toward certification renewal. The CyberSec First Responder training program and certification is now approved for 29 hours of CEU credit towards the CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, and CompTIA CASP certifications.

The ProCert Accredited CyberSec First Responder training and certification program takes a holistic approach to preparing security professionals to analyze threats, secure networks, handle incidents, and utilize other critical security skills to become the first line of response against cyber-attacks. This course is designed for information assurance professionals who perform job functions related to the development, operation, management, and enforcement of security capabilities for systems and networks. Upon completion of the course, students are able to sit for the high-stakes Certified CyberSec First Responder exam virtually or in-person through Castle Worldwide.

"We are thrilled that CyberSec First Responder is now approved as part of CompTIA's Continuing Education Program," said Bill Rosenthal, CEO, Logical Operations. "The CFR training program and certification is a perfect fit for IT professionals who are advancing through CompTIA's IT training path, as it will build upon their existing knowledge and provide them with the in-demand security skills needed to protect and defend their organizations' networks."
