The event was hosted by NAPA Filters' Brand Manager Paul Kortman and Keith Wilson, President of Affinia Group and CEO of Affinia Global Filtration, manufacturers of NAPA Filter products. During the weekend, Gunnery Sergeant Eric Dueweke presented Mr. Kortman and Mr. Wilson with a certificate of appreciation to NAPA Filters on behalf of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

NAPA Filters has long been a staunch supporter of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, working with NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores, and customers to raise donations for this heroic cause. In a recent promotion, NAPA Filters placed donation canisters in thousands of NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores and collected tens of thousands of dollars for this worthy cause. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund's sole focus is building treatment centers for military personnel suffering the effects of traumatic brain injury and psychological health conditions. These "Intrepid Spirit Centers" are typically located on the grounds of military bases and at this time there are six facilities serving those in need.

Started in 1966, NAPA Filters was the first branded product under the NAPA name. NAPA is the world's largest distributor of light and heavy-duty filters in the automotive aftermarket, serving domestic and import vehicles sold in the U.S., as well as heavy equipment and industrial hydraulic applications. NAPA Filters are sold exclusively through NAPA AUTO PARTS stores.
