For farm and construction workers, moving heavy equipment and supplies is probably the most difficult part of the job. Well, thanks to two inventors from Goshen, Ala., help is on the way.

They developed a prototype for the patent-pending FARM HELPER to reach into spaces that a fork lift cannot access. As such, it helps move heavy equipment and objects with the push of a lever. Therefore, it reduces the amount of time and effort needed to lift and move those items. Besides that, it fits most small- to medium-sized tractors. It is also convenient, efficient and easy to operate. In addition, it is versatile, adaptable, strong and durable.

The inventors' work experience inspired the idea. "I needed a way to move 200-pound slats from inside poultry houses for cleaning without having to pick them up by hand," one of them said.

The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
