Municipal leaders and C Spire officials announced today that Clinton's Lakeridge fiberhood reached its pre-registration target on Friday and now joins the Cascades, Southern Oaks, Hunter's Ridge-Indian Trails and Bruenburg North fiberhoods, which qualified for the 100 times faster Internet earlier this year.
The Ridgeland-based telecommunications and technology services company expects to finish engineering and begin construction in the latest Clinton fiberhood in June. Commercial service is expected to be available by mid-October in all five areas of the city.
