BDO Consulting, one of the nation's leading professional services organizations, today announced the expansion of its Global Forensics practice with the addition of Momar Ndiaye as a Director in the New York office. Mr. Ndiaye, who has significant experience investigating malfeasance in Africa and Southeast Asia, has worked with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and global financial institutions for more than 15 years on forensic accounting, compliance and regulatory matters involving financial reporting and internal controls.

Mr. Ndiaye's investigative experience includes international engagements involving allegations of procurement fraud, financial fraud, mismanagement, noncompliance, corruption, money laundering and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA). He specializes in multi-jurisdictional cases in high-risk markets, having worked in more than 30 countries around the world. Mr. Ndiaye has worked closely with major governmental agencies for international development, including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID), and the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID).

Prior to joining BDO, Mr. Ndiaye served as an Investigations Team Leader for the Office of the Inspector General of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, where he addressed areas of noncompliance and responded to allegations of fraud and financial misconduct. He also worked as a Senior Investigator at the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services and its Iraq Oil-for-Food Programme. In addition, Mr. Ndiaye was a Team Leader in Financial Advisory Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers providing complex litigation and corporate investigation services. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from New Jersey City University.
