IPC Healthcare Names New Executive Director in Kansas City

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

IPC Healthcare, Inc. IPCM, a leading national hospital medicine and post-acute physician group practice company, announced today that it has appointed Olevia Pitts, M.D., SFHM, to the position of Executive Director for its Kansas City region. In her new role, Dr. Pitts will be responsible for operations in both acute and post-acute care facilities throughout the region.

Dr. Pitts brings over 25 years of clinical healthcare experience in various roles. Most recently, she served as IPC Healthcare's Regional Medical Director for the Kansas City region. She also serves on IPC Healthcare's Practice Group Leadership Council, helping mentor younger physicians to be the leaders of tomorrow. Dr. Pitts has the distinction of being a graduate of the IPC-UCSF Fellowship for Healthcare Leaders program and was named by ACP Hospitalist, a publication of the American College of Physicians, as a Top Hospitalist for 2014. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
