Hugh Beecher And Rick Gordon Join First Republic

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- First Republic Bank FRC, a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that portfolio managers Hugh Beecher and Rick Gordon have joined First Republic in San Francisco.

Beecher and Gordon have each been named Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. They work for First Republic Private Wealth Management and are located at First Republic's San Francisco office at 111 Pine Street.

Beecher has more than 20 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining First Republic, Beecher worked at Barclays wealth management group in San Francisco. Earlier in his career, he worked for Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and founded Beecher Investment Management.  Beecher has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and an MBA from Brigham Young University.

Gordon has eight years of investment management experience. Prior to joining First Republic, Gordon worked for Barclays wealth management group in San Francisco. Earlier in his career, he worked for Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers.  Gordon is active in San Francisco Bay Area community organizations. He serves on the Alumni Board of Governors for the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan, is Board President of JCC Maccabi Sports Camp and is a Board Member of the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame of Northern California. Gordon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Michigan and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
