Versar, Inc. Joint Venture Awarded $2 Million Contract To Provide Design-Build Construction Services For Upgrades And Repairs At Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

SPRINGFIELD, Va., Jan. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Versar, Inc. (NYSE MKT: VSR) announced today that its joint venture with Johnson Controls Federal Systems has been awarded a $2 million Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization (SR&M) Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). The contract will provide construction services at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait including upgrades and repairs at the Oasis Dining Facility and HVAC re-engineering work at Building 505. The contract is a single award with a 20-month period of performance.
