Home Properties Baltimore Area Apartment Communities Recognized for Excellence

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Properties, Inc. HME today announced that its Baltimore area apartment communities received multiple awards for excellence during the 18^th annual Star Awards, presented by the Maryland Multi-Housing Association, Inc. (MMHA). Home Properties owns and operates 23 MMHA-member communities in the Baltimore area.

Recognized among MMHA's People of the Year was the 19-member service team of Howard Crossing Apartment Homes that received a silver award in the Service Team category. Robert Cahill of Canterbury Apartments was honored with a bronze award for excellence in the Service Supervisor category.

Morningside Apartments and Charleston Place Apartments received gold awards in the Garden Communities category, while Westbrooke Apartments and Canterbury Apartments were named bronze award winners. Village Square Townhomes and Apartments was honored with a bronze award in the Townhome Communities category.

Home Properties achieved Star Certification for eight of its Baltimore area communities: Annapolis Roads Apartments, Bonnie Ridge Apartments, Middlebrooke Apartments and Townhomes, Mill Towne Village, Owings Run Apartments, Saddle Brooke Apartments, The Apartments at Cambridge Court, and Top Field Apartments. An MMHA Star Certified community must achieve a 90% minimum of required judging criteria for the highest standards of apartment living excellence.
