Fitch To Withdraw Ratings Of Santander Holdings USA And Santander Bank

BOSTON, Dec. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Santander Holdings USA, Inc. ("SHUSA") and Santander Bank, N.A. ("SBNA") are assigned credit ratings by Fitch Ratings Inc. ("Fitch"), one of the nationally recognized statistical rating organizations in the United States.  SHUSA and SBNA are also assigned credit ratings by Moody's and Standard & Poor's.

SHUSA and SBNA have not solicited credit ratings from Fitch since 2009 and have notified Fitch that they do not anticipate soliciting credit ratings from Fitch in the future.  As a result Fitch has informed SHUSA and SBNA that it will withdraw the ratings for these entities on or around January 5, 2015.

SHUSA and SBNA will continue to be assigned credit ratings by Moody's and Standard & Poor's.
