WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 13, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterDigital, Inc. IDCC, a mobile technology research and development company, today announced that it expects its total fourth quarter 2014 revenue to be between $82 million and $85 million.

"We are very pleased to announce that we expect to record total revenue in the range of $82 million to $85 million in fourth quarter 2014," noted Richard J. Brezski, Chief Financial Officer. "This range includes recurring revenue of $81 million to $84 million and is driven by our licensees' strong sales of mobile devices utilizing our advanced technologies. Our fourth quarter revenue guidance does not include any contribution from the arbitration award we received earlier this year related to our agreement with Arima. We will recognize any revenue related to the Arima arbitration award when all criteria for revenue recognition have been met."

This revenue guidance is based primarily on royalty reports received to date, and does not include the potential impact of any new patent license, technology solutions or patent sale agreements that may be signed, or any other arbitration or dispute resolutions that may occur, during the balance of fourth quarter 2014.
