W. R. Berkley Corporation Appoints Robert L. McPherson Vice President

GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

W. R. Berkley Corporation WRB today announced the appointment of Robert L. McPherson as vice president. Mr. McPherson will lead the corporate team responsible for providing technical expertise and advice in designing and implementing predictive modeling at our operating units. The appointment is effective immediately.

Mr. McPherson has nearly 30 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry, including over 15 years of modeling and research experience. Prior to joining W. R. Berkley Corporation, he directed various teams of data scientists and business analysts responsible for predictive modeling, GIS analysis, data quality assessments, statistical outlier detection, and other analytical processes at a large national insurance company. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing from the University of Akron, an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a M.S. in Information Technology / Information Management from the Harvard Extension School.
