Cherokee Global Brands Announces Three Partnerships for the ále by Alessandra Brand

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Cherokee Global Brands CHKE, today announced, in partnership with Alessandra Ambrosio and Silver Sunrise, LLC, the launch of three new strategic partnerships for accessories and footwear for the ále by Alessandra brand.

Beginning this spring, Oxford Ophthalmic, Physician Endorsed and Esquire Footwear will debut lines of ále eyewear, hats, totes and casual footwear. These new categories join Lunada Bay, the ále by Alessandra master swimwear licensee, to elevate the brand profile and maximize the “Malibu beach meets Brazil Bohemia” brand essence.

Oxford Ophthalmic's eyewear designs are recognized across the industry for their fashion, style, and innovation. The ále by Alessandra line will consist of women's ophthalmic frames, sunglasses, and readers, as well as non-ophthalmic sunglasses. Initial shipments for sunglasses are planned to arrive next spring followed by ophthalmic frames in the summer and will be distributed through specialty shops, optical retailers, and department stores throughout the country.

In addition to eyewear, hats, bags, and totes will be distributed through department and specialty stores by Physician Endorsed. The ále by Alessandra line will include resort, spa, and cruise line collections as well as product designed for golf, tennis, yachting and sailing clubs. Founded in 2002, Physician Endorsed is a leader in delivering a modern option to UV protection. All of Physicians' UPF products are tested and rated for maximum sun protection.

Esquire Footwear is family owned and operated and has been designing and manufacturing the highest quality, well-priced fashionable footwear since the mid-1980s. The ále by Alessandra footwear collection will feature casual footwear and is anticipated to be available in department and specialty stores next fall.
