Both southern California districts have recently installed 10G upgrades to their existing Sunesys private Ethernet WAN solutions, providing high-speed dedicated optics. With the ever-changing landscape of technology in the K-12 field, the timing is pertinent considering initiatives brought forth from SETDA, ConnectED and online testing guidelines such as the State's initiative, Common Core State Standard. Garden Grove Unified sought a 10G wide area network upgrade between eight of their secondary education sites.
