New York, NY (PRWEB) October 01, 2014

CFO Publishing announced today that Danielle Balestra, Director of Marketing for CFO, has been named to Folio's Top Women in Media, in the Rising Stars category. The awards mark Folio's “inaugural list of Top Women in Media, saluting the creativity and accomplishments of our female colleagues, sometimes against the glass ceiling, other times against the grain.” Honorees were celebrated during an Awards Luncheon on October 1, 2014 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.

I'm elated to hear that Danielle has been named to Folio's Top Women in Media. Danielle was originally hired at CFO to manage the marketing activities of our training and education products and it became clear quite quickly that she possessed the skills, experience, and aptitude to take on greater responsibility within the organization. Danielle now manages all marketing activities at CFO and has done a fantastic job establishing operating procedures, implementing new marketing automation technology, and working with the sales organization to reach company goals. We've seen dramatic improvement in our marketing performance across all CFO products and we have Danielle to thank for that. She is definitely a rising star.

Danielle Balestra's understanding of marketing analytics, and her ability to measure performance and make changes as necessary, have led to astounding results. She proved that CFO email deliverability rates did correlate with the email sending frequency and had the foresight to make the necessary changes. Overall open rates have increased to 23% from 12%; with increased overall click rates from 2% to 5%. Webcast email opens in June alone were 24% compared to 8% during the same period in 2013. The increase in qualified revenue opportunities is resulting in very happy advertisers and repeat business for CFO and its sponsors.

Honors went to women in six categories, including corporate visionaries, industry leaders, director-level doers, entrepreneurs, rising stars and mentors.
