(IAA), a business unit of KAR Auction Services KAR, and the leading live and live-online salvage auto auction company, today announced the acquisition of two facilities from Auction Systems, a West Texas based salvage auction company. Located in Abilene, TX and Amarillo, TX, the acquisition further expands IAA's presence in the Texas Panhandle and the West Central Region of the state. These facilities are essential to IAA's continued growth in the state of Texas and further expand the company's footprint of facilities across North America to provide buyers and sellers with the best options.

IAA's 23.5 acre facility in Abilene, TX is located at 7700 US Hwy 277 and includes a building with more than 15,000 square feet.  The Amarillo, TX facility is located at 11150 S.FM 1541 and includes a building with more than 13,000 square feet on 18 acres.
