GuitarControl.com released a new video guitar lesson from GuitarControl.com instructor and creator Claude Johnson. In this guitar lesson, now available on YouTube.com, Claude Johnson teaches a lesson on creating blues licks using the pentatonic scale.

(PRWEB) September 01, 2014

“Today I want to use A Major Pentatonic instead of Minor Pentatonic”, says Claude Johnson. Claude demonstrates the first lick as follows; open 5th string and then 2nd fret of the 4th string with first finger and do a hammer-on to the 4th fret with 3rd finger and finish on the 2nd fret of the 3rd string with first finger. “I go over some of these basic concepts such as hammer-on's and vibrato in my course Killer Guitar Control Secrets”, says Johnson. Claude says you should really play with the feel and rhythm to make the lick different and to fit what you are playing it over, “there is no wrong way of playing it”. Claude continues by playing variations of the lick by adding more notes to it by adding the 4th fret of the 3rd string with 3rd finger and the 2nd fret of the 2nd string with first finger and the 5th fret with 4th finger and those same two frets on the first string as well.
