NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

TranSigma Partners, a management consulting firm based in Norwalk, CT, has teamed up with Sacred Heart University students to develop and test a cloud-based application of its Options Ranking Methodology (ORM) for businesses. Through Sacred Heart's Welch College of Business Problem-Based Learning Lab, TranSigma and students will partner to help businesses simplify complex strategic vendor selection decisions; particularly where technology is involved in highly-matrixed operating environments.

In the first phase of the project, the students will investigate the market potential of the project. This will be followed up with a business plan, prototype and production version of the online tool. It is expected to be highly integrated with social media and be available on mobile platforms
