Piper Jaffray Expands Software Research Platform with Addition of Katherine Egbert

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Piper Jaffray PJC is pleased to announce the hiring of Katherine Egbert as a senior research analyst covering the software sector. Egbert will be based in San Francisco and will begin to re-establish the firm's software research platform.

Egbert joined Piper Jaffray from a software startup in Silicon Valley. Previously, she was a sector lead and top-ranked software analyst at Jefferies for seven years. Prior to Jefferies, she gained sell-side experience at the former Dain Rauscher Wessels, Thomas Weisel Partners and C.E. Unterberg, Towbin. Egbert holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota.
