SUGAR LAND, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Rangeland Energy (“Rangeland”) announced today that the company has signed a multiyear agreement with Halliburton HAL to provide frac sand rail unloading, storage and distribution services in the Delaware Basin. Rangeland will serve Halliburton and its producer customers from Rangeland's RIO Hub, now under construction near Loving, New Mexico. The 300-acre facility is located in the heart of the Delaware Basin's rapidly growing production area. Operations are expected to begin in October.

“We are very excited to be working with Halliburton and proud to be selected to service their growing frac sand infrastructure needs in the Delaware Basin,” said Rangeland President and CEO Chris Keene. “This is a significant agreement with a major company that anchors our footprint and supports Rangeland's vision for growth of the RIO System in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas.”

In addition to servicing Halliburton's regional frac sand requirements, the RIO Hub will offer its other customers crude oil and condensate storage, stabilization, and outbound rail transportation services through BNSF Railway. Rangeland's RIO Pipeline will connect the RIO Hub to the pipeline network at Midland, Texas, providing RIO customers with pipeline transportation for crude oil and condensate and connectivity to other downstream markets. By offering outbound service via rail and pipeline, the RIO Hub provides refiners, marketers and area producers with the infrastructure options to reach multiple high value markets.
