MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Datalink DTLK, a leading provider of data center infrastructure and services, today announced that Patricia A. Hamm, has joined the company as executive vice president of human resources. An HR veteran with more than 30 years of leadership experience, Hamm will provide strategic guidance to the company, mature the HR department to support Datalink growth and manage organizational strategies, operations and employee engagement efforts.

“As we continue to build a world-class organization to meet the expanding needs of our customers, it is critical for us to have someone with extensive experience in HR, talent acquisition and organizational development,” said Paul Lidsky, president and chief executive officer. “The employees at Datalink are our most critical resource. To ensure that we continue to attract, retain, grow and motivate our people, we sought an experienced HR executive. Patty brings a history of success with human capital and a range of strategic and operational experience which will complement the leadership team at Datalink. I am excited to add Patty to our team and know she will play a critical role in Datalink's continued growth.”

Prior to joining Datalink, Hamm was vice president of global human resources at Imation Corporation IMN, where she aligned the company's new strategic vision to organizational programs. Her other experience includes senior human resources positions with Petters Group Worldwide, Polaroid Corporation, Fingerhut, Inc., Net Perceptions, Nellcor Puritan Bennett and First Bank System (now U.S. Bancorp; NYSE: USB).

She is also an active member of the Carlson School International Management Advisory Board, chair of the Twin Cities Human Resources Executive Forum, member of the Society for Human Resource Professionals, and on the non-profit board for Tubman. Hamm holds an M.A. from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. from the College of Saint Benedict.

“I am excited to be joining Datalink's team in this important time in not only the company's growth, but also in the technology market, as the company continues to build on its commitment to offer broad technology expertise to its customers,” said Hamm. “Leadership and innovation for our customers begins with the quality, engagement, and commitment of our people. Together with the rest of the leadership team, I look forward to developing our already strong group of employees, attracting future contributors, and accelerating Datalink's future success.”
