Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Acquires Trip Mate, Inc.

ITASCA, Ill., Aug. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. AJG today announced the acquisition of Trip Mate, Inc. based in Kansas City, Missouri.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

Established in 1989, Trip Mate is a full service travel insurance agency that provides a wide variety of travel protection plans and services for their travel industry clients throughout the United States.  They specialize in trip cancellation/interruption, lost baggage, and traveler assistance programs sold through travel agencies, tour operators and cruise lines.  Bradley Finkle and his colleagues will continue to operate from their Kansas City and Northridge, California locations under the direction of Kevin Garvin, head of Gallagher's North American affinity operations.
