TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 22, 2014) - The public is advised to expect a high volume of Canadian Armed Forces vehicles on Ontario roads on August 23-24, travelling from the Niagara Region to units across Ontario following Exercise STALWART GUARDIAN 2014.
Drivers are asked to be patient and cautious as the convoys will comprise civilian pattern and military pattern trucks, light armoured vehicles, chartered buses, and transport trucks.
Canadian Armed Forces personnel from across Ontario conducted military training in the Niagara Region of Ontario, from August 15 to 24, 2014, as part of Exercise STALWART GUARDIAN 2014. Exercises such as STALWART GUARDIAN 2014 are an important way to hone critical skills and be prepared to assist Canadians when and where military help is needed.
