Windstream CFO Tony Thomas to Discuss REIT Spinoff at Goldman Sachs Conference

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Aug. 25, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tony Thomas, chief financial officer of Windstream WIN, will speak at 8:40 a.m. CDT on Friday, Sept. 12 at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference in New York. Thomas will appear with Windstream President and CEO Jeff Gardner and discuss the company's plans to spin off certain telecommunications assets into a real estate investment trust (REIT). Thomas will become CEO of the REIT. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015.
