Jacobs Receives Contract from Hong Kong SAR Government

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. JEC announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the Civil Engineering and Development Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to provide managing and operating services for the Public Works Regional Laboratory (PWRL) in Tai Po, Hong Kong. This contract replaces Jacobs' previous contract that was awarded in 2011.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is managing and operating the PWRL (Tai Po) for a period of four years. At the laboratory, Jacobs staff provides construction materials compliance testing services to support public works projects. In addition to the laboratory in Tai Po, Jacobs is currently providing management and operating services for another laboratory in Siu Ho Wan.
