1.  Available seat miles - represents the aircraft seating capacity multiplied by the number of miles the seats are flown.

2.  Revenue passenger miles - represents the numbers of miles flown by revenue passengers

3.  Load factor  - represents the percentage of aircraft seating capacity that is actually utilized 

For the month of June 2014, Copa Holdings' system-wide passenger traffic (RPM) increased 13.0% year over year, while capacity increased 12.2%.  As a result, system load factor for June 2014 was 77.4%, a 0.5 percentage point increase when compared to June 2013.

International passenger traffic grew 15.4%, while capacity increased 14.4%.  This resulted in a load factor of 77.4%, a 0.7 percentage point increase when compared to June 2013.  For the month, International capacity represented 98.5% of total capacity.

Domestic traffic, represented wholly by Colombian domestic service, decreased 53.7%, while capacity decreased 50.9%.  As a result, domestic load factor for the month decreased 4.7 percentage points to 76.6%.  For the month, domestic capacity represented 1.5% of total capacity.
