W. R. Berkley Corporation Announces Pricing of $350 Million of 4.75% Senior Notes Due 2044

GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

W. R. Berkley Corporation WRB announced today that it priced an offering of $350 million of 4.75% Senior Notes due 2044. The Company intends to use the net proceeds for the repayment at maturity on May 15, 2015 of its $200 million aggregate principal amount of 5.60% Senior Notes, and the remainder for general corporate purposes. Closing of the offering is expected on August 6, 2014.
