SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Citrix today announced that it is making on-the-go audio conferencing easier with the release of the Citrix OpenVoiceTM mobile app. The new service makes joining a conference call seamless and effortless for mobile workers with a simple, one touch feature to join and no need to enter access codes or memorize call ID information. Additionally, with the new design from OpenVoice, users can now organize and schedule meetings as well as generate an email calendar invitation with the conference call information all in one place. The OpenVoice app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Formerly marketed as Citrix HiDef Corporate audio conferencing, OpenVoice is the next generation of audio services for Citrix that includes easy set up and scheduling, in session recording, and delivery of high quality audio conferencing required in today's business environment. Citrix OpenVoice is a standalone audio conferencing service. It is also the add-on toll-free audio technology that accompanies Citrix award-winning collaboration services: GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar and GoToTraining. Reimagined for mobile device use, the new OpenVoice mobile app now extends the ways teams can enjoy high-quality audio conferencing from their iPhone or Android device.

“Citrix is giving us more ways to work how we want, when we want,” said Jodi Yauch, IAEE, customer. “In the past it has always been painful for me and my users to join a conference call from our mobile phones. Jumping back and forth from the dial screen to your calendar invite to input the dial-in or passcode is a hassle. It's important for us to have technology that allows us to seamlessly get our work done, no matter where we are or how mobile we choose to work.”

“Audio conferencing remains a staple for many SMB business operations to handle employee, customer and prospect as well as shareholder engagement. As more people rely on their mobile devices as the primary communication tool, it was important for us to make that experience simple,” said Rohit Shah, product line director Citrix. “The common frustration and fumbling around that many users experience having to join their conference calls while mobile (on the go) has been eliminated, ultimately improving time to benefit and improving customer satisfaction.”
