Daniel Oginsky Promoted to Executive Vice President and General Counsel for ITC Holdings Corp.

NOVI, Mich., May 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ITC Holdings Corp. ITC today announced that Daniel J. Oginsky has been promoted to executive vice president and general counsel. He previously served as senior vice president and general counsel.

Mr. Oginsky is responsible for the legal affairs of the company and oversees ITC's Legal Department, which includes the legal, corporate secretary, real estate, contract administration and corporate compliance functions.

Prior to joining ITC in 2004, Mr. Oginsky served in private practice in Washington, D.C. and Lansing, Michigan, with a primary focus on energy matters. While in private practice, Mr. Oginsky advised and advocated for clients on regulatory, administrative litigation, legislative, transactional, property tax and other matters.

"Dan has helped guide ITC to many successful milestones over these past 10 years as our general counsel while distinguishing himself as a leader in our industry in that role," said Joseph L. Mr. Oginsky earned his Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University and his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. He recently was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award by Michigan State University's James Madison College in recognition of his public service, support of the college, and success in his career.

Mr. Oginsky is a member of the advisory Board of Directors of Belle Tire, Inc., the Providence Health Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Board of Visitors for James Madison College at Michigan State University. He also is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Washington, D.C. Bar.
