ALISO VIEJO, Calif., May 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- QLogic QLGC, the industry leader in Fibre Channel adapters, today announced that the company gained revenue share in the Fibre Channel adapter market in the first quarter of calendar year 2014, as confirmed by recent market share reports from the Dell'Oro Group1 and Crehan Research.2 With a sequential quarter-over-quarter gain of four percentage points, QLogic led its nearest competitor by 19 percentage points, and gained more than five percentage points over calendar Q1 2013. QLogic currently holds a total revenue share of 59 percent according to Dell'Oro Group and 57.8 percent share according to Crehan Research.
