Tower International Selects Altair's Compute Manager

TROY, Mich., April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Altair, a global provider of computer-aided engineering (CAE) and high-performance computing (HPC) software and services, today announced that Tower International TOWR, a leading global automotive manufacturer, has selected Altair's Compute Manager to simplify and streamline access to distributed resources.

Compute Manager is a Web-based application for accessing computing resources from any location. With Compute Manager's easy to use interface, users can set up jobs on remote HPC systems, access geographically distributed applications and data, manage and monitor workloads, and visualize results remotely from virtually any Internet-enabled device.

Tower then added Compute Manager to this environment, implementing the solution from bare metal to a fully operational environment within two weeks.
