Goldcorp's final offer for Osisko expires

VANCOUVER, April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - GOLDCORP INC. (TSX: G) GG today announced that the minimum tender condition of its offer for all of the issued and outstanding shares of Osisko Mining Corporation ("Osisko") was not met by the expiry time of 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 22, 2014.  Accordingly, Goldcorp's offer expired in accordance with its terms and Goldcorp did not take up any of the Osisko shares deposited pursuant to the offer. All Osisko shares deposited to the offer will be returned to the Osisko shareholders who deposited them.

The nominations of John P. Bell, Beverley A. Briscoe, Peter J. Dey, Douglas M. Holtby, Timo S. Jauristo, Charles A. Jeannes, Clement A. Pelletier, P. Randy Reifel, Ian W. Telfer, Blanca Treviño and Kenneth F. Williamson for election to the Board of Directors of Osisko at Osisko's upcoming annual and special meeting to be held on May 20, 2014 will be withdrawn.
