Bill Ward Joins First Republic As EVP Chief BSA/AML Officer

Ward has 14 years of experience in senior executive roles overseeing fraud prevention, Anti-money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). Prior to joining First Republic, Ward was Executive Vice President, Chief BSA/AML & Security Officer at Union Bank in San Francisco for seven years. Earlier in his career, Ward worked in law enforcement for 17 years.

Ward earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts. He completed the Executive Management Certificate Program School of Police Staff & Command from Northwestern University. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and a member of the Association for Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist, the American Society for Industrial Security, and the Association for Certified Fraud Examiners.
