ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

As underscored in recent headlines of unprecedented data breaches such as at the University of Maryland, Target and other large retailers, Ultra Electronics, 3eTI, a leading provider of military-grade, cyber-secure network solutions, will release new guidance on the state of industrial control systems (ICS) cybersecurity garnered from the firm's work with the US Department of Defense and other large intelligence clients.

Industrial control system (ICS) cybersecurity, a $7 billion industry1, is expected to grow to $10.33 billion in 2018. This level represents an estimated compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8 percent from 2013 to 2018. The power, energy and utilities security vertical continues to be the largest segment in spending and adoption for ICS security solutions.

3eTI will issue a series of reports through a new SecureICS campaign in early spring addressing the current environment for enhanced operational security on industrial cyber-attack vulnerabilities and attack surfaces, and defense in depth for ICS. This case-based intrusion data with preventive and remedial tactics through hardware, software, training and certification will be reported in April and May as a series of articles and white papers. The firm's security specialists and executives also will share their findings on security topics in a blog to launch by summer.

Contingents of recently recruited technical leaders are championing the 3eTI SecureICS initiative. The campaign team also includes newly appointed staff John Fossaceca, VP of Technology and Product; Mark Benedict, VP of Business Development and Jim McGlone, Director of Commercial Business Relations.

Benga Erinle, President of 3eTI, will be available to discuss the SecureICS campaign in a series of webinars to be scheduled next month.
