New Handcrafted Manufacturer SoulsBeat, Announces Their New Unique Cajon, The BeatBox Davis

SoulsBeat first arrived with the BeatBox cajon in late 2012. The BeatBox was originally featured as being handcrafted, having a unique curved design, and 'all-side' playing abilities. SoulsBeat launched their new 2014 drum on December 1, 2013 with a new design to 'rock the world of Cajons' as they put it. The Davis's new design includes a hardwood tone-ring build into the tapa.

The reason for the tone-ring is to add tone back into the sound of the drum, removing the flat tire bass, as well as the snare riding in the bass. The Davis also includes tone bars in the frame, as well as a removable top. Just after SoulsBeat announced the BeatBox Davis, SoulsBeat also announced two new Davis designs to the market, the first one being the BeatBox Davis Signature M2, and the second one being the BeatBox Davis Premium M1.
