Amy Hebert Joins Celanese as Vice President Europe Region

DALLAS & FRANKFURT, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Celanese Corporation CE, a global technology and specialty materials company, today announced the appointment of Amy Hebert as vice president, Europe region.

Hebert joins Celanese from Albemarle Corporation where she most recently led the catalyst business as vice president, with overall responsibilities including creating and executing long-term business development strategies and managing the group's financial performance.

During her time with Albemarle, Hebert held a variety of positions with increasing responsibilities including chemical engineer, sales manager and global business manager of catalysts and components. She also held an assignment in France and served as vice president of Albemarle's performance catalyst solutions division, which became one of the fastest-growing divisions in the company under her leadership.

Hebert earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
