TransCore DAT Changes Name to DAT Solutions

PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TransCore DAT (TransCore Commercial Services LLC), a subsidiary of Roper Industries ROP, announced today that it has officially changed its name to DAT Solutions LLC.

The new name reflects the business's expanding role as a provider of information solutions for the commercial transportation industry and distinguishes it from its sister company, TransCore, a leader in RFID, tolling, and traffic systems.

DAT Solutions was established in 1978 as the Dial-A-Truck load finder service at Jubitz truck stops in Portland, Ore.
